'Lilium lijiangense'
(Orange Color Form)

L. lijiangense is a native of China and has been reported by photo contributors and successful growers Gene Mirro and Rimmer de Vries as being much like the species L. henryi once established. In nature L. lijiangense is found on well drained grassy mountain slopes at around +/- 6000 feet. The type collection was made in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, China where it was found growing near Yunnan Pine. The specific classification 'L. lijiangense' refers to the type collected locally.
