'Lilium martagon flaviflorum'
This photo of probably the rarest of all known L. martagon varieties was provided by Melvyn Herbert of the United Kingdom. Not much is known about var. flavifloum other than it carries a unique yellow flush of color, sometimes has a very purplish spots, but is usually found unspotted, it is being propagated in Lativa and was reported as being found in 1920 in the Rhonegebirge area of Bavaria by Professor J. Bornmuller.
