A Tetraploid trumpet lily crossed with
Lilium henryi, but in a more open shape than usual; valuable in Interspecific breeding programs. Named for the servant in the opera "Madame Butterfly", this hybrid produces flowers that are bright orange upon opening in cool weather, then lighten to white tips with an orange throat. Hot weaher will see more lemon yellow than orange in theoverall flower color. 3 to 4 Feet. July.
