Flame Kissed - J. Mak Oriental™
Spicy fragrance, 3 to 4 Feet. Mid / Late July flowering.
Actually, Flame Broiled was Johan's working name for this lily in the field but it looked to us to be more "kissed" than broiled.
Once again, Johan has produced a lily the likes of which the world has never seen. The creamy white petals blend softly to a creamy yellow highlight. What jumps out is the 'Flame Kissed' splash of red and the great spotting pattern of the inner 1/3 of the petals.
This lily has held up extremely well in Johan's mid 80's to mid 90's temperatures in the field but as with all softer colored lilies we do recommend some afternoon shade to intensify and prolong color especially in hotter climates.
Established bulbs will put up 3 to 4 foot stems and flower in Oregon in mid July. Captivating fragrance.
