Flower Description:
One of the brightest, hot pinks we carry, 'Acapulco' was originally chosen for the cut flower market, but just happens to be a terrific garden plant too. In the commercial greenhouse, its color is medium pink, but garden grown plants are more intensely colored. Mature bulbs, by their breeding nature, tend to flower smaller than other varieties, but produce 3 to 5 blooms the first year, and many more when established. Very fragrant. 3 to 4 Feet. July Flowering. Fragrant.
Photo found under title of "Additional Images" is of a planting of 'Acapulco' in our front yard backed by a number of seedlings bred by the late LeVern Friemann including 'Scheherazade', 'Northwest Passage' and 'Marion Friemann'.
