'Pink Euphoria' - J. Mak Orienpet™
'Pink Euphoria', as with 'Helen of Troy', has proven to be very color fast in hot 85 to 90 F direct sun in Johan's field. This Orienpet is from a selection that came from crossing (Indian Summer x Pink Oriental)F1 x (White Oriental) for you breeders who want to know. You can't help to be anything but euphoric when she comes into flower. Appearing to be more 'Oriental' than most 'Orienpet' types, this is due to the double Oriental breeding used with 'Indian Sumer' which was an early Mak selection. (See photo insert #2 of "Grandma").
Very lovely scent and just a light smattering of deep pink spots for accent. Even the pink buds on this masterpiece of hybridizing work are lovely. As will all pink flowering Orientals, she should be given some light afternoon shade in very hot areas. Growing to about 4 feet, this is a July Blooming lily. Bulbs are coming to us direct from Mr. Mak.
