Flower Description: Bright hued dark raspberry in our field when first opened, they lightened a bit during the week, so we recommend light shade for the most intense color throughout the bloom. During harvest we noted that 'Pirandello' had a much heaverier root mass to deal with and the waxy appearance of the bulbs suggested this could be a tetraploid, but we have not verified it as such. Very heavy stems. June/July Flowering. 4 Feet. Light Scent.
