'Pearl Carolina' - Asiatic Hybrid Lily
Flower Description: Our first viewing of 'Pearl Carolina' brought back fond memories of the old Stone & Payne hybrid from over a half century ago, 'Connecticut Yankee'. Whereas 'Conn. Yankee' was more pendant in form, 'Pearl Carolina' carries its beautifully recurved flowers in an outfacing fashion, the rich pumpkin orange color is unique and in cool weather will sometimes carry a hint of red. As with 'Conn. Yankee' it is practically spotless, but in cooler areas, will produce more spots, the colder it is. For us, this is a nostalgia lily. Expect 3 to 4 Feet for height. Flowers in June. Unscented.
